Irwin P. Beadle & Co.'s Handbooks
AFTER Irwin Beadle entered into partnership with George Munro, he advertised
a number of handbooks. For the title "Dime Hand-Books" of the original series,
was substituted Irwin P. Beadle's Ten Cent Hand-Books. I have seen none
of these, The following were advertised in Irwin P. Beadle's Ten Cent Novel,
No. 2, and in the New York Tribune for November 9, 1863. The copyright
date and the name of the publisher should distinguish them from those published
by the earlier firm.
