Frederick Talbot was an English writer of the 1870's and 1880's. Besides "Through Fire and Water," reprinted by Beadle, he wrote "Pandora's Box" (1878), "Sophie Crewe" (1878), "The Scarsdale Peerage" (1880), and "Lottie's Fortune" (1880), all published in London.
