"Seeley Regester" was a pseudonym of Mrs. Metta V. Victor.(1) For novels published under this name, see Mrs. Victor.
Notes
1 | New York Weekly, XXV, October 13, 1870, states that Seeley Regester and Mrs. Mark Peabody were both pseudonyms of Mrs. M. V. Victor, and claims that this was the first time that such a revelation was made. Saturday Journal, in its advertisements of "The Dead Letter," said it was by "Seeley Regester (Mrs. M. V. Victor)." |
