Buff or cream colored paper wrappers, with a humorous illustration on the front, apparently stencil colored (Fig. 135). 66 pages, 6 3.8 by 4 1.8 inches in size, with numerous woodcut illustrations. Contains a pirate story by Artemus Ward.

The Dime Pocket Joke Book, No. 2. Jim Crow Joke Book. Beadle & Adams, 98 William Street, (c) 1875. Advertised(2) April 3, 1875. Buff or cream-colored wrappers with a colored humorous illustration of a negro and a crow on the front. 64 pages, same size as preceding. Many illustrations. In spite of the cover illustration and the title, the jokes in this book are not negro jokes.
