"The Jungle Scout," by Capt. H. R. Millbank, Irwin P. Beadle's American Novels, no. 44, Starr's American Novels, no. 13, and Dime Novels, no. 155, is identical with "The Jungle Scout," by Capt. R. Hawthorne, in New York Weekly, July 26, 1866. But Capt. R. Hawthorne was one of Ellis' noms de flume, consequently Millbank, also, is Ellis.
