It is possible that "George W. Gleason" was George W. Goode. No novel was published by Beadle under the latter name, however, and the guess as to the true name is based simply upon the similarity of the two names, and the fact that the two were writing at the same time. "Gleason" was also the author of a few Nickel Libraries.
