Betweeen 1877 and 1905, 1103 numbers were issued. The first 26 were reprints of
Frank Starr's New York Library; the final 128 numbers were published by M. J. Ivers & Co. Size of originals,
13 x 9 inches. The heading above (Type I-DL) was used on Nos. 27 to 56 and on some of the reprints of
Nos. 1 to 26. Rarely the new heading is found pasted over copies of the original issue.
