Popular Fifty Cent Books

BEADLE'S Fifty Cent Books (Figs. 45 and 46) were not issued as a regular numbered series, but as occasional publications during the years 1866 to 1869. They were octavos, 9 by 6 inches in size, and contained from 80 to 300 pages enclosed in pictorial wrappers, each one differing from the others.
